Check this out. One of my cards I made using Cosmo Cricket Early Bird (which is just ONE of my favorite lines of theirs) made it on their favorites list on Saturday. And ever being the slow one to the party, I just saw it today! Which is ok since I really need a good start to a Monday morning!! But I was honored that they would choose one of mine to showcase with so many other fabulous projects!! Be sure to check it out! 🙂 Cosmo Cricket Favorites List — yay!
And beyond that, things on the scrapbooking front has been nil for me. My desk has been in such disarray that I can’t muster up enough creativity to muscle through the mess and create anything. But I did manage to get the savage beast under control this weekend to where I do hope to sit and get a few things glued down soon.
I do have a couple cards that I never got around to sharing from a couple weeks ago. So to not make this post completely boring – here they are:
The first card was for the new challenge that’s up at Cardalicious to use the colors pink, yellow and teal. And the other card I created just for fun.
Last week was a little out of the ordinary for our household. Tom and I have decided that we would like to try to have a baby of our own after a year or more bouncing the decision around. *Gasp* I know that you’re all thinking – but doesn’t he already have 4 girls?? Are y’all insane?? And to answer that question, yes and no. The only insane part was what Tom had to go through to make this decision happen for us. He had to go in for a reverse vasectomy on Friday the 9th and has been in “recovery” since then and I’ve been playing the role of head of household with chores. Doing yardwork, cleaning, nurse-maid, etc. I’m a little exhausted but it’s all worth it, even if it means putting scrapbooking on hold until he’s able to take on his chores again. Which sadly for me will be about 6 weeks! But I will be trying to schedule in some “me” time in between it all again.
I have the best husband around who would be willing to go through the reversal and have a 5th child just so I can bear “our” child and feel that love of having my own. (Plus, I think he’s also hoping this time he can get a boy – ha)!!! We both are super excited about the idea of success and having a baby around again and so are the kids. But we are tyring to keep it in perspective as well since the chances of success are 50/50 and can take 1-3 years of trying. So, positive thoughts and prayers and patience are needed! Hopefully I will be posting a little + sign on a stick soon though! 🙂
The silver letters on the second card are just plain perfect for your theme! LOVE it. Congrats on your new journey and I’ll be watching for good news! It will be amazing.

Wow, great guy you got their. I can attest, vasectomy reversal for me has been 4 months of hell. It is easy to overdo it and set yourself back, so keep up the good work. My wife is still doing all the weeding, although as of 2 weeks ago, I can finally mow (most) of the lawn.
Yay on the Cosmo hook up! CUTE cards!
Hey sweetie! I know what you mean about disarray! I’m hoping to clean up my room so I can make a big mess again! I will keep you in my prayers and hope for a little blessing for you and your sweet man! Love ya!
